Behavioural advertising
We may use Personal Information to provide targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may interest you.

Lawful basis and retention
We use Personal Information to offer products for sale, process payments, ship and fulfill orders, provide customer service, and keep you informed about products, services, and offers.
If you are in the European Economic Area (“EEA”), we process Personal Information under one or more of these lawful bases:

- Performance of a contract between you and the Site.
- Compliance with legal obligations.
- Protection of vital interests.
- A task carried out in the public interest.
- Our legitimate interests, where they do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms.
When you place an order, we retain your Personal Information for our records unless and until you ask us to erase it, subject to applicable legal requirements.
Automated decision-making
EEA residents may object to processing based solely on automated decision-making, including profiling, where it has a legal or similarly significant effect. Shopify uses limited automated decision-making to help prevent fraud, including temporary denylists of IP addresses associated with repeated failed transactions and credit cards associated with those addresses.
